2021 Holden Showdown

This decision did not come easy but past experiences has shown that getting everyone to the track only to have a rain out is apparently not fun!!! No more excuses for 2021...this is the official 2021 Holden Showdown breakdown and I better see you there!!!

Once again it will be at beautiful Cecil County Dragway in Rising Sun, Maryland. Gates will likely open at 8am but racing will not start until sometime around 10am barring any bad weather the night before. As in previous years I will need to get at least 50 cars to keep things exciting and will try to sweeten the pot a bit more for the bracket race winners. First place will once again get a $250 credit to LSXOnly.com courtesy of the one and only Joe LaBruzza.

$125 per car and online entry will be opening within the next few days to Holdens-Only or my regulars until October 3rd. After that date, I will open up registration to all paying customers in order to fill a car count if I'm struggling. Spectators and crew can also be purchased for $10 online or the day of.  Food and Fuel will be open like in the past. Fuel shed usually closed around 12-1pm latest. Please make sure you bring a helmet and if there are any forms I will need you to sign, we'll do it like last time where everything moved real smoothly!!! Just makes everything faster.

Gates open ~8am with racing starting around 10. Bracket racing will start around 12:30pm and will run through 3pm. Call outs and test and tune will run throughout the event until 4pm. Gates close 4pm. 

This time around I am making a lot bigger deal of the car show and will work with Marc Wolf to determine what the prize will be. I will say you will be taking home CASH with you...so don't leave until the judging is done. 

I encourage you to purchase a ticket today to make sure you're locked in and I will add you to the racers list like before and post it here! I'm looking forward to finally getting my junk back down the track and I'm sure you are too!!!!!! See you there!!!!
